Allbright & Lockwood - the premier Tile, Lighting, and Hardware showroom in Santa Fe - is seeking an experienced tile designer/salesperson to deliver outstanding designs and service to our customers. We are looking for an outstanding person to join our tile sales team, reporting to the Tile Sales Director.

Our showroom designers serve the residential market in a retail setting through appointments and walk-ins. We provide excellent customer service and work with retail customers, design-build firms, contractors, and designers. The focus of this position is to assist in customer project design, educate customer on tile products, plan, execute and manage all tasks through final sale and delivery.

This position is focused on tile, but you will also have the opportunity to learn the lighting and hardware product lines that we carry. This is a full time M - F position.

You have:

-1-3 years of relevant experience.

-An Interior Design Degree or design sales experience, residential design experience is preferred.

-A background in tile sales or tile industry.

-The ability to multitask and problem solve.

-The ability to sketch designs for clients and installers.

-A well developed sense of humor.

You are:

-Knowledgeable on tile product lines and installation techniques.

-A great communicator, and problem solver.

-Friendly and outgoing, with excellent customer service skills, and love helping people.

-Able to work in a fast-paced environment, while remaining calm under pressure.

-Career-focused and a team player.

You will:

-Provide design services for customers.

-Create estimates of cost and tile take-offs as needed referring to customer's floor plans or descriptions.

-Go on site visits to assist with design selection and problem solve installation issues.

-Confirm availability and order products from distribution, and ensure delivery schedule.

-Become an expert on the tile product lines we carry.

-Educate customers on our products in person, phone or email.

-Maintain and organize a visually appealing showroom.

-Manage and update tile offerings, including ordering and organizing new tile lines.

-Follow-up timely and professionally with customers on all requests or problems.

-Reach out to architectural and design firms to introduce new tile offerings.

-Be an active participant in company growth strategy.
