Hotel Delmano is a busy COCKTAIL BAR in Williamsburg Brooklyn (not a hotel). We are looking for an experienced OYSTER SHUCKER/PREP COOK to join our great crew with kitchen experience and prep skills.
MUST BE AVAILABLE EVENINGS ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. Other nights of the week are good, too. But weekends are a must.
The job involves shucking oysters as well as preparing other seafood, small plates, and charcuterie boards. Experience with raw bar, ceviche and oyster shucking is ideal. There is room for growth if you show aptitude. We will train you if you show ability and interest.
A positive attitude and great work ethic is a MUST.
Hotel Delmano is a fun, fast-paced environment. Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
If you have a food handlers license you go straight to the top of the pile! Please include start/end dates of previous employment if submitting a resume.
Compensation: hourly between $16/hr - $22/hr depending on experience

El Hotel Delmano es un BAR DE COCTELES en Williamsburg Brooklyn (no es un hotel). Estamos buscando un COCINERO/DESCANSADOR DE OSTRAS con experiencia en la cocina y habilidades de preparación.
TIENE QUE ESTAR DISPONIBLE SÁBADO Y DOMINGO. Otras noches de la semana también son buenas. Pero buscamos alguien que puede trabajar los fines de semana especificamente.
El trabajo consiste en abrir ostras y preparar otros mariscos, platos pequeños y tablas de embutidos. La experiencia con ostras, almejas, ceviche y descascarado de ostras es ideal. Hay margen de crecimiento si muestras aptitud. Te capacitaremos si muestras habilidad e interés.
Una actitud positiva y una gran ética de trabajo es NECESARIO.
Estar disponible para trabajar tardes, noches, y fines de semana.
Hotel Delmano es un ambiente divertido y de ritmo rápido.
