Part time initially with potential for full time for the right person for midtown west wine store. Afternoon and evenings until 12am. Retires welcome. Must speak English. If you are looking for just any temporary part time job, this is not for you or us.
We are an 90 year old boutique wine business that focuses more on unique smaller production wines, rather than mass produced grocery store brands. We seek either a person familiar with the wine business or someone who wants to learn, is good with math. We have a great atmosphere and a small dedicated staff. We hope to find a reliable individual with a neat appearance, appropriately dressed, who is personable and passionate about wine, with a strong work ethic and work history. Your looking for a long term position and have some knowledge or interest in learning about the different wine producing countries, regions and grape varietals. You would be assisting in all areas of our retail operation where needed, which includes working with customers, pricing, arranging and stocking the wine sections.
