Modern Love is a from-scratch vegan restaurant looking for a cook who has at least two years experience in a vegan restaurant. Applicants have to love making cheese out of cashews and burgers out of lentils. Other requirements: kneading seitan, pressing tofu, putting notch on everything. Please be versatile and able to work the line or prep as needed. We are really looking for someone who really wants to be in a vegan restaurant and sees this as a career and loves vegan food <3 <3 <3
For this position we require:
A few years experience in a vegan restaurant
A valid NYC food handler's license
Amazing time management
