Since 1926, Dr. Naylor products have been serving the topical health care needs for dairy cows, beef cattle, horses, sheep, goats, dogs and chickens. Based out of rural upstate New York, HW Naylor has served our global customers with reliable and affordable veterinary products like Dr. Naylor's Dehorning Paste, Hoof N' Heel, Blu-Kote, Red Kote, Udder Balm, and Teat Dilators for nearly 100 years.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining Quality Control of incoming raw material testing and finished goods in a small ten-person animal health product manufacturing company.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Develop and optimize chemical processes for product development
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and quality control standards
- Analyze and interpret data, prepare reports, and present findings to quality manager and owner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research projects and achieve project goals.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
-Develop various methods and specifications.
-Write company SOPs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and techniques.
- Experience with wet chemistry.
- Familiarity with FDA CFR, cGMP, GLP guidelines and quality control procedures.
- Proficiency in scientific research methodologies and data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Experience with HPLC is a plus.
