ReHouse Associate with Salvage Focus:
The Associate's responsibilities and skills include, but are not limited to:
Assisting Customers in the Retail Store
Accurately perform cash register sales
Opening and Closing store with other associates
Process inventory to sell on sales floor
Unloading donations from customer drop offs
Pick- up and delivery of materials
Ability to lift materials weighing up to 50+ pounds
Hands on field salvage, physically removing items without damaging
Drive Company Truck
Adhere to set schedule
Qualifications:
Computer skills a plus Microsoft excel and access
Ability to legibly write in and complete forms, perform basic math
Experience in related field/ home improvement/contractor
Work well as a team being flexible with scheduling
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be able to work independently and problem solve
An aptitude for figuring out deconstruction of building materials in a systematic way
Knowledge of hand and power tools
Valid NYS drivers license clean driving record
Physical Demands:
Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individuals will need to work in cold and hot temperatures. This position requires physical strength to carry and remove built-in items. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting is required on most job sites. Proper lifting techniques required.
