Job Description
Duties and responsibilities:
Mow Crew Leader, under direction of supervisor, will communicate
with customers, operate equipment, drive truck (sometimes truck and trailer), supervise
crew members, and work on site with crew.
They will also help coordinate daily crew activities, operate equipment, fill out timesheets daily (electronically and written), record materials daily, coordinate daily clean up and preparations for following day, complete jobs with attention to detail and on schedule, as well as daily inspecting and cleaning of vehicles and snow removal duties.
Demands & Work Environment:
- Crew Leaders are expected to lead crew in their daily route and tasks as directed
by supervisor.
- Must be dependable, personable, energetic, honest, and hard-working.
- Must be physically be able to be on their feet and walking for long periods
of time and also be able to respond well to direction and work independently.
- Expected to communicate with crew technicians, supervisor, as well as
other crew leaders in order to thoroughly complete client specific services.
Expected to report site issues, problems, as well as resolutions immediately to
supervisor.
- Attention to detail for full landscape is expected. If any questions should arise,
consult supervisor.
- Punctuality and attendance is expected of all employees.
- All employees are expected to help maintain a neat work vehicle and home base
by discarding trash and debris properly, daily.
- Time off of any kind (leaving early, vacation, etc.) is expected to be
communicated no less than 2 weeks in advance to supervisor.
- Includes outdoor work with exposure to all weather conditions and physical hard work.
