Line Cook
Looking for a strong Line Cook to join our team at Haymaker Restaurant. This the newest restaurant by Chef William Dissen located on Romare Bearden Park in Uptown Charlotte!
We are a group of cooks, farmers, waiters, artisans, organizers, brewers, and dishwashers who share a common philosophy about how we eat and in a larger sense, about life. Located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, Haymaker Restaurant focuses on being a community leader and bringing sustainable, ingredient-driven food and drink to the region in a casual, neighborhood setting.
We are looking for applicants with 2-3 years of minimum relevant experience in the industry, as well as a fundamental understanding of kitchen technique and professionalism.
Full weekend availability is necessary to be considered for hire.
Haymaker is looking to hire those with a genuinely positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, and strong work ethic.
Interviews will be arranged by appointment.
Requirements:
- Fundamentals of fine dining cooking
- Professional and positive attitude
- Knowledge of all basic cooking techniques
- Sanitation and organization a must
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers
- Professional working environment
- Minimum 2-3 years experience
