Medical Office is in search of a full-time RMA/CMA.
Qualifications and Skills:
ï High school diploma or GED required.
ï Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office required.
ï Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant.
ï Basic computer skills
ï Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
ï EMR experience a plus
Clinical Functions:
ï Prepare exam and treatment rooms.
ï Prepare patients for examination and treatment by recording patient history and vital signs.
ï Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for exam rooms
ï Schedule patients for specialized tests and follow up appointments.
ï Maintain patient medical records and other information including entry of data into EMR.
ï Provide phone assessment of patient to provide appropriate clinical treatment.
ï Work with a variety of personnel and departments to ensure smooth clinic operations.
ï Perform other duties as assigned.
