Busy small animal veterinary hospital located in Denver, NC in need of two veterinary assistants/technicians. Must be outgoing, detail-oriented, have sincere compassion for clients and patients, team-oriented, able to maintain full case knowledge and management in a fast-paced work setting. Our animal hospital has three great doctors and a team of staff that will become a second family to you. We also have wonderful clients and great patients that keep you on your toes! Your work day will never be boring!
Job responsibilities include: Basic technical skills and patient care, case management and knowledge of pertinent treatment history, organization and communication of client education, entering patient and client information into computer database accurately. Excellent communication skills are a must, as technicians are expected to confidently and articulately answer clients' question, as well as review potential treatment procedures and costs for patients.
We currently have two positions available, one full time and one part time.
Full time Position available: Monday- Friday and 1-2 Saturdays per month.
Part time Position available: must be able to work an 8 hour shift on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and 1-2 Saturdays per month. More hours may be available.
Pay and Benefits: Pay will be between $10.00 to 15.00/hour, depending on previous work experiences, previous education, and enthusiasm.
