Heavy Equipment Operator “ Agricultural Division

Heavy Equipment Operators work outdoors “ usually in wide open farm fields or residential areas “ assisting with a variety of functions required in the installation of drainage systems.

Requirements

500 “ 750 hours Previous Excavator Experience

Experience with open cutting pipe

Great attendance

Positive, flexible, teamwork attitude

Ability to work hard while performing physically demanding work in the field “ including standing/walking most of the day, kneeling, squatting, using a ladder, operating hand tools, operating equipment safely, etc.

Not Required but a Plus

Dozer Experience

Laser GPS Experience

Drain Tile Experience

CDL

(Ellingson Companies will train in these areas)

Other aspects of the position:

PAID TRAINING!

Candidates with great driving records are preferred. CDL holders preferred, on-the-job CDL training also available.

Crews travel significantly including many overnights (generally 4 nights a week).
