Requirements
3-5 years of comparable experience
Associates or bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Excellent Computer skills including QuickBooks, MS Office, Word, Excel, & Adobe
Attention to detail, analytical mind, problem-solving skills & internally motivated.
Highly organized
Ability to perform accurately in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Ability to work on tight deadlines
Ability to multi-task and not lose focus
Construction billing experience a must - AIA documents, contract & billing
Responsibilities
Perform general bookkeeping duties, with Strong QuickBooks Skills
Invoicing (AIA billing), reconciliations, accruals, month end closing, issue checks
Experience with general contractor monthly pay application process.
Manage sub contractor's weekly pay apps and Conditional/Unconditional release
Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
Obtain necessary tax forms from new vendors.
Management of Corporate Filings, Licensing, etc.
Manage subcontractors' contracts, invoices, lien releases, insurance, etc.
Manage Sub-Contractor Compliance record and certified payrolls.
Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner
Perform special projects and additional assignments as directed that support the General Accounting function.
Review of various accounting reports to ensure the accuracy and clarity of information presented.
Correspond with clients and respond to inquires
Provide administrative support to management when require
