Thomson MacConnell Cadillac is seeking an experienced and qualified candidate that has basic automotive technical knowledge and familiarity with operations of an automotive service department. This candidate must possess the ability to communicate effectively, multi-task, work as part of a team, understand the optimal utilization of workshop capacity and maintain effective time controls. Attention to detail and the desire to succeed are must-have attributes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Interact with Service Advisors and Service Manager in managing work assignments to Technicians.
-Proofread all repair orders for accuracy and completeness before dispatching to technicians, ensuring detailed descriptions of customer's complaint and warranty edibility.
-Ensure shop is kept clean and orderly at all times, including equipment room, tool room and all areas adjacent to the service department.
-Accurately estimate shop capacity and shop loading, and provide accurate reports upon request.
-Coordinate information, processes, and relationships with Service Manager, Service Advisors, Parts Manager and Parts Counterpersons.
-Coordinate with the Service Manager, Advisors or other Retail Center personnel regarding the repair work. determine the estimated time of completion.
-Achieve optimal utilization of workshop capacity
-Ability to adapt to the needs of people and situations as they arise.
EXPERIENCE:
-Service Advisor-3 years Required
-Previous Dispatching Experience Preferred
-Valid Drivers License Required
