We are looking for a Assistant Production Manager to help oversee the installation crews, installations and maintenance of our relationships with our customers and accounts.
The Assistant Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing installations of carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile flooring in single family homes, along with overseeing the daily operations of the Office.
Responsibilities Include:
-Oversee projects to be completed in a timely and cost-effective method while maintaining high quality.
-Making sure craftsmanship is maintained with installers in the field.
-Working with measuring software.
Knowledge-Skills-Abilities :
Strong knowledge of all flooring categories in both product and installation.
Ability to prepare scopes of work, schedules and cost estimates.
Complete projects in a timely and cost-effective method while maintaining high quality.
Source contractors and vendors and oversee the current installation contractors.
Ability to identify and solve problems on the fly.
Adherence to budgets and schedules and our standards is paramount.
Competent and comfortable with technology is a requirement
Advanced communications, presentation and negotiation skills.
Effective communication with contractors, staff and senior management.
Ability to multi-task and balance several simultaneous projects at one time.
Avoids surprises and keeps others appropriately informed.
Ability to adapt to growth and changing business environments.
Impeccable ethics and integrity required.
Must be highly organized, computer savvy and not afraid to get your hands dirty.
Frequent travel to and from projects in the portfolio.
Must have a strong sense of urgency
