We are currently hiring a Full Time Lead Diesel Heavy Duty Mechanic in Cincinnati area
Responsibilities:
Work with the Service Manager in managing the diesel mechanics and the scheduling of repairs to maximize work efficiency
Check and review work in process and follow-up for completion as scheduled
Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions
Inspect and if necessary, road test vehicles upon completion of work to insure quality of repairs performed
Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors
Complies with all safety, DOT and OSHA guidelines
Adhere to company rules and regulations
Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas
Qualifications and Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum three years recent medium/heavy diesel maintenance experience
CDL license preferred
Good driving record and proven work history
Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold temperatures
Must have own Tools
Must Have Good Leadership
