Growing Manufacturing Company looking for Entry level Lab Technician!
Basic Function
Works alongside peers in a laboratory environment to support, create and perform physical, chemical and corrosion testing samples.
Responsibilities
Carries out assigned projects, laboratory work and data analysis under the direction of a supervisor and team members
Operates and maintains laboratory equipment
Works under supervision with direct instructions
Carries out routine and semi-routine tasks independently
Understands and complies with accepted laboratory and safety procedures
Demonstrates excellent laboratory technique
Skills/Physical Requirements
Possesses basic laboratory skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Must be willing to wear mandatory personal protective equipment
Ability to routinely lift up to 25 pound test samples
Education and training
Degree: High School Diploma or GED required
Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Sciences or Engineering is preferred
