Center Opener: Part-time employment 15 to 20hrs per week
Open center promptly at 6:30am Monday thru Friday.
Greet and receive all children.
Be responsible for children until other staff is available.
Assist parents with checking their child in and out.
Prepare breakfast and cleaning materials for the entire center.
Individual will complete some light cleaning. Also report any center matters to Center Director(s).
Requirement for Opener Position: Have at least a High School Diploma or GED. Have previous experience with opening a center. PPLC will provide training for the following CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease and Child Abuse.
Lead Infant/ Toddler Teacher
Individual with a CDA or has an associates degree in early childhood is preferred. Individual will be looked upon as children(s) daily primary caregiver, must have great written and verbal skills. Individual must implement ODJFS rules and regulations as well as uphold PPLC policies and Step Up to Quality requirements.
Assistant Preschool
Individual with previous experience working with children ages 3-5, is preferred. Individual will support the lead teacher and the children of the classroom. Individual will be looked upon as lead teacher when he/she isn't available. Therefore individual must work well with lead teacher, children and parents.
Lead School-Age Teacher
Have at least a High School Diploma or GED. Has previous experience working with children 5 to 12years old, providing them with daily activities. Maintaining a safe and clean environment for them at all times. Individual who has a clean driving record and is will to drive small bus is preferred.
Infant/ Toddler, Preschool & School-Age potions will start off as part-time possibly leading into full-time after 30day probation period.
