RESEARCH TECHNICIAN SUMMARY:
National sod company is offering career opportunities to Research Technicians who will assist with data collection and data entry for greenhouse trials, field trials and patio container trials.
Love of gardening and/or a background in science (biology, horticulture) is a plus!
REQUIREMENTS FOR RESEARCH TECHNICIAN:
Aptitude for both math and science
Mechanically inclined
Strict attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Familiar with Data Entry-Numeric, MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
Must be able to lift up to 50LBS
Comfortable with standing in one position
Picking/Packing responsibilities included
RESPONSIBILITIES OF RESEARCH TECHNICIAN:
Garden preparation and maintenance.
Nursery and agricultural crop production and maintenance.
Turf crop preparation and maintenance.
Experimental design, setup and data collection.
Fertilizer, chemical controls, and soil amendments.
Greenhouse crop production and maintenance
SCHEDULE & PAY RATE:
8:00 am - 5:00 pm
$12.00 / hour
