The qualified candidate will be working under the direction of the Quality Engineering Manager to assist in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing improvement projects that support our Schneider Production System (SPS).Great people make Schneider Electric a great company.are YOU ready to be part of the team?What do you get to do in this position?Responsible for implementing and sustaining Lean and Six Sigma concepts, interfacing with cross-functional teams and other functional departmentsDeveloping manufacturing PFMEAs, Control Plans and recognizing and achieving improvements in tooling and processesMaintain current knowledge of the latest methods and technologies, and be able to recognize their applicability within our manufacturing and assembly operationsResponsible for monitoring and reporting key metrics and developing improvement planAdditional Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferredStrong Quality, Industrial and/or Manufacturing Engineering backgroundApplication of Lean and Six Sigma techniques, statistical methodsMechanical aptitude highly desiredAbility to lead and interact with others in a collaborative environment is a mustExperience with Lean Manufacturing tools, 5S, 8D, Kaizen events, Six Sigma tools, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, Process Auditing, Process Capability analysis, ISO, Poka Yoke design desiredVolt is an Equal Opportunity Employer
