Cascade Integration & Development Inc. is an Oregon systems integration firm that has a growing presence in California. We are looking to hire a unique individual that can serve our existing customers throughout the state but primarily in Bay Area. This position will initially be a work from home arrangement until an office is arranged, which will most likely be in the East Bay. The position will require someone who has a diversity of skills, great customer service mentality, and the ambition to maintain the stellar reputation that CID has in our industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Direct Interfacing with customers.
Multi-industry technical support that includes troubleshooting of:
o Control loop circuitry
o Instrumentation
o PLC's (primarily Allen-Bradley)
o Motor Control Circuits including VFD's
o Networking
Calibration of instrumentation and associated documentation.
Assist with new system development when needed.
Assist with new system implementations when needed.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Engineering Degree -BS/MS , or equivalent technical training.
Excellent interpersonal skills with coworkers and customers.
Ability to clearly communicate with customers to diagnose control system issues.
Ability to adhere and contribute to in house standards.
Ability to use MS Office products with no training.
Five or more years' experience with the following:
o Instrument Calibration with NIST or ISA standards.
o Troubleshooting control loops utilizing electrical schematics and DMM's.
o Troubleshooting and support of PLC based systems.
o Troubleshooting and support of Motor Control Circuits including VFD's.
Possess a valid driver's license.
No criminal history.
Preferred Skills:
Electical Design.
PLC Programming Experience with AB SLC and AB CLX.
HMI Development Experience.
AutoCad (2d electrical prints)
HART Devices
Telemetry
