We are currently seeking a Lighting Technician! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.
Responsibilities:
Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
Troubleshoot motor and control systems
Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
Adhere to all quality and safety codes
Qualifications:
Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Hold a valid drivers license and be insurable.
A rapidly growing industrial and commercial lighting installation company is looking for self-motivated, full-time travelling Lighting Technicians and Crew Leads.
The position provides an opportunity for advancement within the company. This unique individual must love full-time travel across North America. They need to possess strong leadership skills, with charismatic communication skills with all levels of internal and external company personnel. Building rapport and being a leader by example while working closely alongside crew members is a requirement. Prior strong leadership experience and/or training is very important in this travelling crew environment. With a professional demeanor and appearance, this positive problem-solver will need to be able to work quickly, neatly, and accurately while training, motivating, and encouraging the team. The position requires reading, writing, and math ability. Basic computer skills and smart device functions are necessary. A basic working electrical knowledge is needed at a minimum. Lighting installation experience is a plus, as well as experience in aerial lifts, fork lifts, pallet jacks and similar equipment. A current valid driver's license is required with a clean driving record. Entry pay is based upon experience in similar positions and/or environments. We utilize direct deposit for payroll while travelling.
