TerraScapes is an established Residential & Commercial Landscape firm. We are seeking a full-time, year-round Irrigation Technician to add to Irrigation Division, Rain-A-Matic. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of all aspects of an irrigation cycle: installing, trouble shooting, repairing, and maintaining. They must be able to communicate information effectively to customers and maintain an atmosphere of trust and customer loyalty.
Responsibilities include:
Flexibility to work a varied and demanding schedule based on seasonal and industry demand.
Maintain the irrigation equipment at client properties.
Equipment can include sprinklers, water lines, pumps, suction devices, valves and other plumbing equipment.
Repair and maintain valves.
Utilize digging equipment such as trenchers and shovels.
Good communication skills with clients.
Track materials and paperwork.
Responsible for job quality and control.
Providing assistance to other job classifications as determined necessary by General Manger.
Job Requirements:
Ability to perform work as directed without constant direct supervision.
Willingness and ability to take direction.
2-3 years' work experience in irrigation field of work as technician.
Strong diagnostic skills to trouble shoot problems with irrigation systems.
Ability to write out repair estimates that include labor to complete and needed parts.
Must have a valid Driver's License and a good DMV record.
Must be able to drive a truck.
Must be eligible to work in the US.
Bi-Lingual is a plus
