Need a care assistant for 3.5+ hours a week and for back up. Duties include occasional errands and transportation, bathing grooming assistance, house cleaning, laundry, household chores including taking out trash, getting mail, small repairs, cooking and other assorted duties.
Position requires approval from DHS which takes 1- 2 weeks to process on accurate completion of paperwork. A background check and reference check is also required. DHS rules prohibit bringing family members or children with you while you are on the job. So, if you have children, you have to find someone to watch them. Further, DHS rules are very clear that you do not borrow money, take my property, ask for gifts or expect me to feed you or pay you for gas to drive to and from job site. Violation of these rules would cause major problems for both myself and the employee.
I need someone who is consistent, reliable and efficient worker 1+ days a week 3.5 hrs as backup and could come in an emergency. 1 of these days would need to be Sat. or Sun. Prefer someone who can work between hours of 9.30 am-8 pm.
I live 1/2 way between Skiatook and Hominy off highway 20. There is no pay for driving time to work site (home) or reimbursement for mileage, therefore need someone who lives in vicinity. I also have horses and dogs. If you have issues regarding animals, this would not be the job for you.
I currently have an employee, however she is having significant health issues. At this point, I'm looking at 2 3.5 days a week and have some private cash work if someone competently carries out DHS CD-PASS duties.
Honesty and the ability to work independently are desirable traits for position. If transporting, my car can be used so there will be no issues about cost of gas. As for errands, I will normally give you the money for purchases and have you do them on the way to my home. Your pay begins when the errands start.
