Manufacturing Engineer - $101,000+ (5 years minimum experience)

Oversees the technical aspects of developing, establishing, testing, and improving manufacturing systems and methods including, but not limited to automation and improvement of processing equipment, material handling equipment, tooling, fixtures, jigs, and testing equipment. Ensure that standard operating procedures are in place and remain relevant to drive safety, quality and efficiency. Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential. Ensure equipment maintenance tasks and schedules meet manufacturer’s recommendations. Analyze labor cost and plan workflow, staffing, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency and identify and optimize bottlenecks. Ensure that metrics for efficiency and productivity are accurate and drive improvement. Assess capacity and required resources to meet customer demand. Identify and analyze process and design improvements to reduce cost and lead time. Ensures manufacturing processes are in compliance with all government laws and regulations. Recommends new policies or procedures as necessary to ensure improved products or services. Conducts training and assessments as directed. Document current and ideal practices and use post-completion audits to assure compliance of improvements. 3D CAD design through commissioning of tooling & fixtures. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site. Shipping & Receiving Manager - $75,000+ (5 years minimum experience)

Responsible for work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow within the Shipping and Receiving Department. Manage policy deployment in the areas of Lean Manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls and plant performance measures. Manage the activities of the department, under the direction of the Logistics Manager and follow established procedures and approved processes. Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to fulfill sales orders, and to meet delivery dates. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations. Knowledge of all manufacturing methods, techniques, and related equipment. Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Regularly communicate with maintenance staff about repair and maintenance needs on all equipment in the department. Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed; bring problems to the attention of the Safety Manager/Technician or HR Manager. Manage material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce levels on hand. Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate fast improvements and improved working relationships. Identify, communicate and drive implementation of capital investments and improvement projects. Issue written and oral instructions to staff regarding work within the department; assign duties and ensure that instructions are carried out accordingly. Examine work for exactness, neatness, and compliance to policies and procedures; study processes continually and implement process improvements where effective. Responsible for unity among workers and resolving grievances swiftly and decisively. Identify employees’ skills and develop them by coaching and counseling employees on a regular basis. Conduct annual performance review and provide continual feedback on both positive and negative performance. Conduct weekly safety meetings; monitor quality of work performed in accordance with the company’s Quality Plan. Plan daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly productions to meet the completion dates as stated on the New Generation Operation Schedule (NGOS) report; review and update NGOS schedule, as needed. Plan for the number of people required per position in accordance with the budget. Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers. Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances. Confer with other managers in the shop to ensure coordination of other functions such as production, inventory management and quality assurance. Ensure correct shipment of international orders. Identify employees’ skills and develop them by coaching and counseling employees on a regular basis. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Kelvion’s policies, procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities will include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Directing employees’ work; setting and adjusting rates of pay and hours of work of employees; planning and controlling the budget for department; providing for the safety of the employees; planning the work; determining the techniques to be used; apportioning the work among the workers. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum 5 years in general management experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Warehouse Supervisor - $65,000+ (2 years minimum experience)

Oversees the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department priorities. Responsible for inventory accountability and accuracy. Arranges for in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules. Arranges transportation of required materials with department supervisors for delivery to various departments. Encourage continuous idea generation from team members for continuous process improvement in cost, time, and safety. Ensure 5S (workplace organization method in the area with good housekeeping manner) is being applied on a daily basis. Follow updated schedules to meet ship dates. Monitor quality in accordance with the company ISO Quality Plan. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, and the ability to work on–site. Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum 2 years in supervisory role in a warehouse / manufacturing environment required. Previous MRP experience preferred.

Quality Control Inspector (Electro/Mechanical) DAY SHIFT - $24+ (Hourly) (2-3 years minimum experience)

Carries out inspection activities in accordance with established quality plans, engineering specifications and procedures in order to verify that the product meets specified requirements. Must be able to effectively use, read and interpret a tape measure. Performs incoming, in-process and final dimensional and visual inspection of materials and assemblies to determine compliance. Electronically records the results to provide evidence that the product has been inspected, whether accepted or rejected. The Inspector is required to handle any nonconforming product in accordance with established work instructions and other quality system procedures. Must be able to read and interpret Engineering blueprints and Customer specifications. Detail oriented and must have experience inspection mechanical, electrical, and structural assemblies or installations. Inspection will work closely with Manufacturing to ensure full compliance to Engineering requirements. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site, ability to work overtime. Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department. Experience with pneumatic pressure or leak testing, preferred. Any NEC-code experience preferred. High school diploma or GED. Experience with calibration of inspection and test equipment mandatory 2-3 years experience. Experience in an ISO 9001 environment preferred.

Quality Control Weld Inspector 1 DAY & 1 NIGHT SHIFT - $24+ (Hourly) (2-3 years minimum experience)

Carries out inspection activities in accordance with established quality plans, engineering specifications and procedures in order to verify that the product meets specified requirements. Must be able to effectively use, read and interpret a tape measure. Performs incoming, in-process and final dimensional and visual inspection of materials and assemblies to determine compliance. Electronically records the results to provide evidence that the product has been inspected, whether accepted or rejected. The Inspector is required to handle any nonconforming product in accordance with established work instructions and other quality system procedures. Must be able to read and interpret Engineering drawings and Customer specifications. Must have weld inspection experience. AWS D1.1 experience is preferred. Working knowledge of Nondestructive Examinations and Powder Coating. Inspection will work closely with Manufacturing to ensure full compliance to Engineering requirements. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site, ability to work overtime. Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department. Mag Particle Inspection, preferred. High school diploma or GED. Experience with calibration of inspection and test equipment preferred. Experience in an ISO 9001environment preferred. 2-3 years experience of weld inspector experience.
