Long time Tulsa based sign company is seeking a sign installer to add to our growing team. Experience in the industry is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities of the job include:
- installing signs into the ground (digging holes, pouring concrete, etc.)
- applying vinyl graphics to windows and vehicles
- climbing ladders to install signs and banners onto buildings
- using lifts and hoists as necessary for higher and hard to reach installs (need to be OK with heights)
- Installing dimensional lettering
- Assisting with electrical sign installations
- Assisting with assembly in the shop in order to prepare for installations (painting, assembling, applying vinyl)
The right candidate will possess the following capabilities:
- Very positive attitude
- Must be extremely dependable
- Previous sign install experience is helpful, but not required
- Previous experience using power tools, painting, working on ladders, etc.
- Ability to occasionally lift heavy weight items
- Ability to work in the elements (extreme cold to extreme hot conditions outdoors)
- Ability to follow instructions closely
- Ability to read shop drawings and perfectly execute the install plan
- Clean driving record and valid Oklahoma driver's license
- Mindfulness of following safety procedures
- Ability to occasionally travel (potential for one overnight trip every 2-3 weeks
