MCP is seeking applicants to join our fuel division as a Maintenance Technician. This position will be a full time, non-exempt position that is based in Bend, OR. The role of the Maintenance Technician is to complete both scheduled maintenance as well as repairs as needed at our several fuel sites around the Central Oregon area. These will range from general site inspections to working on fuel pumps, card readers etc. Knowledge in the fuel industry is a plus. Onsite training will be provided.
JOB DUTIES: This is not an exhaustive list
Service cardlock sites daily
Basic maintenance & repairs of all Bend area cardlock sites including hoses, nozzles, site controllers, modems etc.
Point person for compliance and reporting to regulatory agencies such as Weights and Measures, DEQ, EPA and OSFM
Repairs on loaned petroleum equipment
Transport, maintain and repair fuel trailers
Oversee and conduct landscaping at all Bend area sites
General maintenance of Bend area bulk and admin sites
Coordinate with third party vendors on repairs when necessary
REQUIRED:
Knowledge of petroleum equipment a plus
Petroleum A/B Operator's Certificate a plus
Ability to communicate effectively & professionally both verbally and in writing
Self-starter who can multi-task and prioritize
Working knowledge of general maintenance; plumbing, mechanical, electrical and carpentry
Driver's license w/ a clean driving record
Employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment physical, drug screen, background check and MVR.
