A Bend Oregon logistics company is seeking a driver based in Portland to drive between Portland and Central Oregon. We much prefer an east side resident. The successful applicant needs to be organized, and results-oriented. Route will include pick up of packages in Portland for delivery in Central Oregon - Redmond, Madras, Prineville, and Bend. Additionally, you will pick up and carry back items returning to Portland for delivery there. This is not home delivery or sales. This is a business with many of the deliveries being medical related. Your daily trip is about 350 miles with Portland deliveries added to that. You will be driving a sprinter van. The work schedule is approximately 8-10 hours per day, but could be more in poor weather. This route is 5 days a week, Monday through Friday however the successful candidate will drive only 3 days per week, alternating with another driver. You would average 28-34 hours per week. You may be asked to work additional days for jobs that occur on an on-call basis. These jobs would generate additional work hours. Could be as much as full time.Performance evaluation after 120 days. As a driver you would depart Portland early to mid afternoon with return to the city late night. (Approximately 12 pm until 9-10 pm.) You must be able to work this shift, Monday-Friday. Successful applicant will have excellent driving record and be able to pass background and drug tests. Experience driving mountain highways in winter is a must. Previous courier/delivery or customer service experience is a plus.
Pay is $13.00 hour to start and you earn Paid Time Off up to one week per year. A company vehicle is provided. Please reply with a resume' and contact information. 1) Clean driving record, Oregon Driver's License
2) Pass background check, driving record, and drug screen.

4) Be able to lift 50 pounds
5) Dress code (company logo wear)
6) NO TOBACCO USE during the work day
7) Able to drive a Sprinter van
