General construction and earthmoving company is in need of individual’s that have knowledge of general heavy equipment, truck and trailer maintenance and repairs. Heavy duty mechanical education and background would be an asset. Preferences will be given to individuals with a driver’s license.
General duties will include equipment maintenance, diagnosis and operation including, gas and diesel engine mechanics and maintenance, heavy equipment repair and maintenance, hydraulics repair and maintenance, AC & DC electrical installation and repair, welding and fabrication for repairs and maintenance of support equipment. Operate power tools and power supplies, use and maintain welding machines and support equipment, perform equipment component oil changes and daily lubrication as per manufacturers specifications. Be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components and systems in equipment. Fabricate, order or repair parts along with being able to assist in shipping and receiving. Maintain a clean work environment, including shop, tool and yard maintenance, along with proper execution of daily documents.
