Wilderton Non-Alcoholic Botanical Spirits

Position:

HOSPITALITY MANAGER

Location:

HOOD RIVER, OR

Company Information

Wilderton was founded in Oregon in 2019 to bring a craft spirits sensibility to the non-alc market, with liquids worthy of playing a part in the growing mindful mixology culture. Unlike other non-alc spirits brands, we were founded by distillers, who make our own liquids from scratch, through a unique production process blending tradition with technology i the nation’s first and only non-alcoholic distillery and tasting room. Drawing on techniques from craft distilling, perfume making and tea production, we create complex, bold liquids that won’t be mistaken for anything currently behind the bar.

Position Summary

This position will develop, manage and execute a full range of hospitality programs, centered around the nation’s first non-alcoholic distillery and tasting room on the Hood River Waterfront and external trade and consumer events. You believe 100% in Wilderton’s mission to elevate mindful drinking through craft non-alcoholic options and can’t wait to evangelize Wilderton as a face of the brand all day every day. You love to get nerdy about ingredients and production details. You are an educator at heart and ideally have spent time behind a bar at some point in your career.

We are seeking a self-starter who has a rare mix of strategic thinking and executional prowess to build out our trade and consumer communities through both IRL and digital experiences. Candidates must be professional, articulate, hard-working, strong leaders who can handle multi-tasking in a fast-paced startup environment.

This role will assume management responsibility for the Tasting Room, trade & PR experiential visits, and our consumer loyalty club.

In the off-season, and as time allows, this role will also support events/tradeshows, community relations, and sales support. The position requires an outgoing, well organized, self-motivated and disciplined individual who is focused on the customer’s experience.
