About the Company
Our client is a leading general contractor and construction management firm headquartered in the Willamette valley since 1988. They are growing and looking for a Staff Accountant to add to their team. This position works closely with the Controller and the CFO.
Examples of Responsibilities:
Compile monthly financial statements for multiple entities
Perform certain monthly/quarterly trial balance reconciliations and assisting controller with month-end closing procedures for the main entities
Assemble consolidated financial statements for all related entities outside of the main entities
Perform financial analysis as needed
Maintain job revenue forecast by month schedule
Assist with annual budgeting process and assist with rolling forecast
Qualifications:
BS accounting degree
3+ years experience in either public or private accounting
Possess overall knowledge of how financial statements are put together and analyze them
Strong experience with different information systems, experience with integrating data between systems
Good communicator - knows how to relay financial information to non-financial people
