Hydra Delivery Personnel Job Description
The position of Delivery Personnel centers around the responsibility of delivering goods to each destination in a timely and courteous manner, and reports to the Distribution & Logistics Manager. This position requires product knowledge to be able to answer basic questions and engage with customers.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
-Verifying order accuracy by reviewing each order to ensure that the invoice matches the transfer manifest, and that all tags and quantities are accurate and accounted for.
-Complete travel checklist before departure and upon return to Hydra at days end.
-Loading the vehicle according to company standards, with consideration for temperature-sensitive cargo.
-Follow route as designated, and if a deviation from the route should occur, it must be reported to the Distribution & Logistics Manager, as well as the Compliance Coordinator
-Ensure delivery meets the customers needs, and obtain delivery confirmation from the customer.
-Attend monthly meetings, whether in person or via Google Hangouts, etc.
Requirements:
-Must obtain a valid OLCC marijuana workers permit
-Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
-Reliable transportation and proof of valid car insurance
-Must be at least 21 years of age
-Must be able to drive to southern Oregon, over night stay may be needed on occasion.
