Embroidery production in busy screen printing and embroidery shop. With many services to learn, embroidery, vinyl lettering and full color decals for heat press, sewn tackle lettering on jerseys, promotional products and custom logo design. If you're looking for an introduction to the screen printing and embroidery industry, this may be the perfect position for you.
We are looking for 'self starter' who is very detail oriented and can work efficiently as part of a team yet also independently run orders from start to finish. Experience preferred but not necessary. (Background in fashion design/ graphic design/ sewing is also a plus!) Computer skills are a must.
Job responsibilities mainly include:
- setup of custom embroidery; programming, threading and running industrial embroidery machines, hooping, trimming, cleaning of embroidery designs.
- check in UPS, sort for orders.
- basic graphic design skills
- vinyl cuts and heat pressing
- must be able to lift 30-40lb boxes from time to time.
- must have reliable transportation.
Monday-Friday 25-30 hours per week (with some flexibility) and potential to increase to full time.
