We are looking for a new team member! The position is full time baker/ice cream maker in our production kitchen. We are looking for someone who shares a production mindset and the vision of well sourced ingredients treated with care. We are not public facing.
The ideal person has some experience in cooking/baking, is dependable, self-motivated, detail oriented and self-sufficient. Once trained the position is self directed. Must be able to lift 50# and have reliable transportation. You must want to work in food, possess strong critical thinking skills, is comfortable communicating with staff and management. Must be able to receive feedback/criticism in a positive and productive way.
We are looking for someone to learn all aspects of the process in our scratch kitchen. From prep, ice cream flavorings (curds, candies, sauces, process fruit) to baking, ice cream making and packaging/order fulfillment.
Our kitchen operates Monday - Friday, daylight hours, 5 paid sick days, earned holiday pay, vision and dental, supplemental insurances .
