Established Custom Woodworking and Upholstery fabricator is looking for an entry level candidate to add to our existing highly talented team.
The ideal candidate should be energetic and come with some experience with design, manufacturing and/or installation of woodworking/millwork product such as cabinetry, seating and millwork components, etc.
The right candidate will also be able to work successfully with our clients (millwork companies, general contractors, architects, etc.), as well as our various suppliers.
This individual should also have the ability to read and understand architectural drawings and related project specifications.
Position Requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with various customer and supplier contacts
Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
General awareness and knowledge of architectural drawing and drafting tools
Ability to conduct field dimensioning and Verify In Field dimensions based on existing plans
Develop shop drawings along with engineering support using AutoCAD (or other preferred drafting tool)
Ability to track changes and update specifications and material changes, schedule changes using Auto CAD, Word and/or Excel
