Affordable Building & Weatherization, Inc. is looking for MOTIVATED Insulation & Weatherization Installers. COMPETITIVE HOURLY PAY of $18 to $22 (based on experience). 40+ hours per week. Year around work. Must be comfortable with cold and warm temperatures, confined spaces and heights and be able to lift 50lbs.
Must be able to pass background check and drug test. Drivers license required with reliable transportation to and from work, a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Installing insulation materials, air sealing, roof ventilation, etc.
Apply insulation materials such as loose, blanket, board, and foam insulation to attics, crawl spaces, basements, or walls.
Install and seal joints of air ducts to improve heating and cooling efficiency.Installing soffit, gable or roof ventilation openings.
Installing temporary access openings to walls floors or roof using hand or power tools.Installing weather-stripping materials to doors or windows to reduce energy losses.
Wrap air ducts and water lines with insulating materials, such as duct wrap and pipe insulation.
Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
