A large private farming operation has an immediate need for a Farm Hand. This progressive farming operation raises corn and soybeans, runs all new to late model equipment, and has a sizable cow/calf operation. Looking for an individual who has a heavy agricultural background, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.
Main duties/responsibilities:
- Aid in the day to day activities on the farm
- Assist with planting and harvesting
- Assist with cattle feeding
- Doctor/vaccinate cattle
- Load and unload grain
- Transportation of cattle and feed
- Transport grain to local elevator
- Operation of heavy farm equipment: combine, planter, sprayers, loaders, grain truck, etc.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of related experience
- Class A CDL or ability to operate semi
- Experience running heavy farm equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ LBS
