We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to join our team. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to residential and commercial properties. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and basic technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Offering competitive wages based on experience. Training available for entry level candidates. Both part time (20-30 hours) and full time available. Flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
Perform minor fixes (locks, doors, windows, flooring, drywall, painting etc.)
Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs
Install appliances (dishwasher, disposal, water heater, microwave, etc.)
Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm, smoke alarm)
Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
Report to maintenance coordinator for issues as required
Requirements
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
Experience using hand and electrical tools
Ability to troubleshoot using available resources (manuals, instruction videos, etc.)
Basic computer skills (including tablets and smart phones)
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina and dexterity
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
