Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in the transport industry, based in Houston, Texas. This role involves providing both remote and hands-on support to our global offices, addressing technical issues such as printer and internet connection problems, software support, resetting passwords, and managing hardware. In addition, you will be responsible for adding and deleting users, as well as managing onboarding and offboarding processes.Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to printers and internet connections Provide software support to users, including support for Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 11 Reset passwords and manage user accounts in Active Directory Handle hardware issues, including desktop hardware and computer peripherals Add and delete users as required, ensuring appropriate access levels are granted Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for employees Support the use of VOIP telephones, particularly 8x8 systems Provide remote and hands-on support to users across global offices Utilize a ticketing system to track and manage support requests Maintain basic networking systems and resolve any related issuesNote: This role may require weekend work on occasion. Requirements Demonstrable proficiency in Citrix Technologies Solid understanding and experience with Database management Familiarity with EO/IR systems Proficiency in Lotus Notes Strong skills in Microsoft applications Experience with Active Directory Knowledge of Computer Hardware Skills in Configuration Management Prior experience in Deskside Support Familiarity with Desktop Hardware Excellent problem-solving skills Strong customer service orientation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team Ability to multitask and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations Willingness to continuously improve and learn new technical skills High level of discretion to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Relevant certification or degree in IT or related field is desirable.
