The Best Western Premier Brian Head Hotel & Spa seeks a qualified physical front desk agent with a high level of professionalism and effective decision making to join our team. We are highly motivated and dedicated to providing superior customer service to every guest, every time.

Key Requirements:

Checks front office accounting records for accuracy and compiles information for the hotels financial records.

Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics.

Prepares summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotels financial performance for the day.

Posts room charges and room taxes to guest accounts. Processes guest charge vouchers and credit card vouchers.

Verifies all account postings and balances.

Summarizes results of operations and prepares reports for management.

Performs duties of the Front Desk Agent.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Strong interpersonal, administrative and communication skills

Successful history as a front desk agent or related hospitality experience (not required but helpful)

Must have a flexible work schedule

Task-driven individual

Customer service oriented personality

Ability to stand on feet for up to 8 hours

Ability to carry heavy items up to 30 lbs.

Responsible and professional

Responsibilities:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong customer service orientation and skills.

Present a professional image, and able to communicate well with both guests and employees.

Ability to operate front office equipment and computers.

Ability to compile facts and figures.

Ability to understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Register & process guests and their assigned rooms

Accommodate guest requests

Communicating with hotel staff on the status of guest rooms and certain work orders or projects that need to be done

Up selling guest rooms and promoting hotel services

Handling cash payments

Maintain a clean and neat front desk and lobby area

Responding to emails and inquires.

Decision making regarding complaints and problem solving

Any other duties that may be given to you by your Manager or Supervisor.
