Au Comptoir in downtown Woodstock is an intimate little bar that has been serving up cocktails, mocktails, and small bites for just under two years now. Over that short period of time, we’ve proudly built up a reputation for crafting the most beautiful and delicious drinks while providing warm and genuine hospitality.
We are looking forward to another busy summer and with that in mind, are beginning to plan ahead. Beginning in May, we will have part-time positions available, and as of June those positions will have the option to increase to full-time if desired. In this role, depending on the night, you may serve tables, serve bar guests, make drinks, prepare food, and/or bus and clean after each guest.
A core requirement for becoming a successful team member at Au Comptoir is a genuine appreciation for hospitality and enthusiasm for hosting guests in our space. We take great pride in not only crafting the perfect drink, but in making a memorable impression on every guest. With that in mind, your attitude, energy, and presence in the room is as important as your past experience or knowledge of food and drink and so we encourage all levels of experience to apply.

Strong work ethic
Ability to adapt to varied roles
Attention to detail
Able to remain calm, kind, and professional in stressful situations
Outgoing personality and willingness to engage guests in conversation
Passion, or curiosity, for cocktails and spirits
Weekend availability with at least some nights as late as 11pm
