University of Vermont Medical Center, Vermonts academic medical center and founding member of the University of Vermont Health Network, seeks a per-diem Security Officer.
Position Summary:
This position has no committed/guaranteed schedule and is not benefit eligible. This is an ideal role for someone who has Security experience and has availability to cover shifts for both planned and unplanned absences of regular staff members. The Per Diem Security Officer role will give you exposure to multiple UVM Medical Center campuses and Security/Parking enforcement protocol. Thorough training is provided. Please indicate in the questionnaire portion of your application if you are interested in and available for Per Diem status.
The primary responsibilities of the Security Officer are to conduct patrol duties, respond immediately to calls for assistance, and document services provided on each shift. The Security Officer is expected to act in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
Please note: this is a Per Diem position.
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent. Valid drivers license and safe driving record.
Experience:
Prior security experience preferred.
