Primary Responsibilities: Provides a variety of duties in support of the Human Resources Department. Primarily responsible for the daily administration and coordination of the companys benefits programs.
Additional Essential Functions:
- Respond to employee questions regarding benefits plans
- Provide forms, benefits packets, and other documents as required
- Assist with maintenance of Human Resources files and record-keeping to include all hires, promotions, terminations, pay increases, address changes, etc.
- Manage corrective action program to ensure compliance with policies
- Manage unemployment claims and represents company at unemployment hearings as necessary
- Oversee personnel file maintenance and compliance
- Assist with employee relations for hourly employees
- Attend trainings to remain current on industry needs
- Maintain yearly performance review schedule
- Become familiar with company policies and procedures
- Research and sustain Human Resource compliance
- Payroll help, including responding to all garnishments/liens, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources with minimum five (5) years experience
- Experience with payroll
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, listening and written communication skills
- Ability to use discretion and good judgment in handling confidential information
- Strong computer skills, including Quick Books, Word, and Excel
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently
