Alliance Nursing is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Assistant/Handyman for a flexible schedule, 15-20 hours a week to perform general, non-specialized tasks in the maintenance of 3 Adult Family Homes in Kirkland, Kenmore, and Snohomish. Duties include basic home maintenance tasks; scrape, putty, and paint walls, woodwork and fixtures; replace light bulbs, covers, and filters. Utilize a wide variety of hand and portable power tools. May lubricate and do simple maintenance on machines, equipment and vehicles. Assist Maintenance and Facilities Coordinator with weekly maintenance and installation projects ad hoc, in addition to scheduled facilities maintenance. Maintains compliance with local, regional and national laws regarding driving, safety, employment and Adult Family Homes.
Qualifications:
Must be able to prioritize competing priorities and complete daily work
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to others related to job functions.
Must be able to use discretion and maintain confidentiality with client and employee information.
Proficient computer skills to include MS Office and Internet searches.
Proficient use of a smartphone.
Must be able to communicate in English fluently; verbally, reading and writing, in a way that is understood by others.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Unexpired Driver's License
Must be able to drive a full-size truck/van with cargo trailer
