Promega, an international biotechnology company, is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our Finance team. You will be responsible for contacting customers via phone and email to collect past due balances. In addition, you will assist with opening new accounts and establishing credit terms.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Associate degree in Accounting. HS diploma with equivalent work experience will be considered.
1-2 years in credit and collections, to include opening new accounts, making credit decisions and working with customer credit limits.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical thinking, and ability to problem solve.
Ability to multi-task.
SAP experience preferred.
