Job Title: Cannabis Administrator

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Cannabis Administrator to join our team. The Cannabis Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and managing various administrative tasks related to the cannabis industry, including licensing, compliance, record keeping, and general office operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cannabis regulations and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing the cannabis industry.
- Manage and maintain all required licenses, permits, and documentation.
- Assist with the application process for new licenses and renewals.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and ensure company compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including inventory tracking, sales records, and employee records.
- Prepare reports and submit required documentation to regulatory agencies as needed.
- Coordinate with external agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to compliance and operations.
- Support the management team with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, meeting coordination, and general office operations.
- Assist with HR functions, including employee onboarding, training, and maintaining personnel files.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a cannabis administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing the cannabis industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and documentation.
- Proficiency in using computer software and systems, including METRC and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations and industry demands.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess any required licenses or certifications for the position.
