We currently manage 186 doors across three properties and are looking for property managers to lead us into the next chapters of our story.
You need to be an organized, efficient communicator who understands the power of systems and documented processes and can create and implement them when they don’t exist. You’re a patient, studious mentor who understands we succeed and fail together as a team; the success of a business starts with its people.
Some of the things you’ll do and be responsible for -
Collect rent, utility, and other payments
Act as the subject matter expert for your community’s sub-market, keep in tune with competitive properties
Manage and direct the on-site staff
Lead leasing and marketing activities
Inspect units to ensure they are ready for tenants, as well as routine unit and property inspections
Manage daily operations for the property
Oversee the ongoing teammate performance; onboard, train and develop new and current teammates
Provide direction and oversight to property maintenance staff for work orders, turn schedules, inventory, maintenance staffing, and material coordination
Formulate and execute plans to increase occupancy, increase revenue, and decrease wasteful expenses
Minimize evictions and assist in the process when necessary
Requirements
Minimum of one-year on-site experience in residential property management
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Ability to work effectively and lead the staff in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Available for on-call weekend emergencies
Highly organized with excellent time management skills
Detail and service-oriented always
Strong oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Fair Housing Rules and Regulations
Comfortable learning and using digital applications
Thick skin and a sense of humor; tenants (and staff) can be difficult sometimes, lol
Understand that being early is on time, on time is late, and late is not acceptable
Know how to be a teammate and communicate like one
