SummaryThe Land Survey Department is comprised of 38 survey techs and field surveyors that support SRP construction and land rights acquisition for internal and external customers. Candidate will work under minimal supervision, coordinating with both internal and external customers to create and communicate a daily schedule to multiple in-house and contract survey crews. Candidate will review a variety of survey documents including land right documents, design plans and work requests to facilitate the creation of the daily schedule for multiple field crews performing boundary, design, and construction layout surveys throughout SRP’s service territory.What You'll Do Review emails and work requests daily to determine job scheduling priorities Communicates with multiple field crews each day to determine job progress for next day’s schedule Works with multiple enterprise computer programs to organize data for dissemination to field crews Communicates with SRP designers and Land Analysts about existing and proposed survey tasks Review design plans, land rights and other survey related documents Communicates with direct supervisor as needed regarding scheduling conflicts and man-power needsWhat It Takes To Succeed Good working knowledge of land rights and land survey principals Ability to research land rights on county websites and internal GIS programs Excellent communication skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to work well in a team environment Ability to multi-task Expert organizational skills Strong attention to detail Demonstrated reliability Fluent in Microsoft Excel and OutlookExperienceAt job entry, placement will be determined by a review of college transcripts and related work experience. A minimum of 6 years of related experience is required for the senior level.
