This role will be responsible for managing the accounting of customer collections, cash application, ageing review and ensuring adherence to credit policies.Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:

Perform daily cash application tasks by reconciling customer payments received against open invoices.

Ensure accurate and timely recording of customer receipts and allocations in the accounting system.

Monitor and review accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and follow up for timely collections.

Work closely with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries related to invoicing and payments.

Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders on collection issues.

Enforce credit policies and procedures, including credit limits and terms for customers.

Investigate and resolve customer disputes or deductions impacting accounts receivable balances.

Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, provide insights on overdue accounts and collection trends and propose amounts to reserve for doubtful debts.

Support month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts receivable, including reconciliations and reporting.

Continuously identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the Order to Cash cycle.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience (2+ years) in accounts receivable or related finance role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

Strong understanding of standard industry practices in accounts receivable management.

Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Microsoft D365) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external customers.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.

Work Environment:

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.The expected salary range for this position is $72,000 - $85,000 annually.
