Established Logistics Company Looking for Package Sorters
We are currently hiring for a package sorter for our logistics company based out of El Dorado Hills. We are a residential and business delivery service provider in El Dorado County.
Package sorters will focus on sorting packages for 14 different routes in our facility. We cover a wide range of areas including El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, Placerville, Cool, Garden Valley, Georgetown, Camino, Pollock Pines, El Dorado, Somerset, Grizzly Flat and other surrounding areas. Package sorters are responsible for sorting a variety of different types of packages ranging from small retail bag packages to small/medium/large boxes and occasional larger parcels for items like BBQ grills or lawn mowers. Package weights range from 1 pound to 20 pounds on average.
This is a physically demanding job that requires a lot of bending and lifting. We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented workers. Sorting is a very crucial part of our delivery business. It is important that all packages go to the right drivers in order to support the team in meeting our daily delivery goals.
This job is perfect for someone looking for part time work anywhere from 3-4 hours per day. Additional job duties may include but are not limited to: organizing pallets after drivers leave, maintaining a clean and organized facility, sweeping, mopping, helping maintain a clean bathroom, and other duties that may arise.
