I am going to buy a new Central Ducted Heat Pump and Air Conditioning Split System and need a license and insured HVAC contractor to install it.
NOTE: I don’t want you to sell me a new system, I just want you to install the system that I buy.
NOTE: The New Condenser and Air Handler “Has To Be” connected to the Existing Electrical, Existing Central Ducting, and Existing Line Set. The Line Set was checked 3 weeks ago to see if it was leaking, it was Not.
NOTE: Good News - Our attic is “Finished” - Meaning the entire floor is plywood sheathed, the walls and ceiling have been drywalled, there are electrical outlets and a wall light and a ceiling fan/light which lights up the entire attic.
It is a finished room which means your work is going to be much easier to complete as opposed to working in an “Unfinished Attic”.
You won’t have to worry about walking on joist and falling through the ceiling or crawling around on your knees or stomach and breathing in batt or blown in insulation.
NOTE: More Good News - The attic ceiling height is approximately 15 feet at peak which means you can stand straight up to complete your work.
I am going to buy one of the HVAC models listed below. Whichever model is in stock, and can be shipped to my home right away, will be the model I buy right away.
Model #1 – MrCool ProDirect Series 2.5 Ton R-410A:

Model #2 - MrCool VersaPro Series 2.5 Ton R-410A:

You will be paid to make Two Trips to my home:
The First Trip - First Task:
#1 - Do a pump down on my old HVAC system 2.5 ton R-22 and then hand me an invoice which must include Your Labor Warranty and then collect your pay and then, have a good day.
NOTE: After you do the pump down - I will remove the condenser. Additionally, I will remove the air handler in the attic (which means you won’t have to do any heavy lifting up and down the stairs and in addition to up and down the narrow attic ladder stairs). It will take me one or two days to remove the old condenser and air handler and after removal I’ll call you to schedule your second trip.
The Second Trip - Remaining Task’s:
#1 – Complete final electrical connections for the condenser and air handler.
Note: More Good News - Prior to your arrival I will move the air handler up into the attic (which means you won’t have to do any heavy lifting up and down the stairs and in addition to up and down the narrow attic ladder stairs).
#2 – Connect new ducting from the new horizontal air handler to the existing central duct and return duct. (A total of 2 duct connections).
#3 – Clean, flush, then purge the existing line set with nitrogen to ensure that all of the old R-22 has been eliminated prior to adding R-410A to the system. NOTE: The new condensers are pre-charged with R-410A but on final connection you’ll still have to add a little tad bit more.
#4 - Turn the HVAC system on and verify with me that there aren't any leaks and the system heats and cools.
#5 – Hand me your final invoice which must include Your Labor Warranty and collect your final payment and then, have a good day.
#6 – Haul the old condenser and air handler away.
I'm planning on this project being completed within 2.5 weeks from todays’ date and depends upon when the new system is shipped and arrives at my front door.
I live in Canoga Park at the Canoga Lakes Condominium Complex Unit #182. Cross streets are Shoup, Carlson Circle, and Sherman Way.
Call me and book a date and time when you can come to my home to discuss this project further and provide a written quote.
Don’t forget to bring proof of your contractor’s license and proof of your insurance.
Lastly – Throughout the years we have video taped all of the work done to our home with the intent of showing the video to the person that will end up buying our home when we decide to sell (we will be selling our home after the new HVAC system is installed). Which means if you apply for this job you and your crew will be videotaped. If you want to shoot your own install video for your You Tube channel you are more than welcome to.
Thank You
